While Damon isn’t the only famous person to support the digital currency, he is the most notable. The ad, which aired in late October, was a controversial one. However, many investors lost money as a result of Damon’s ad. The commercial, which promoted a cryptocurrency exchange called Crypto Exchange, compared investing in cryptocurrencies to conquering Mount Everest or landing on Mars.
